Hi,

I am doing an internal audit on raw and packaging material.

We require to have coa's, coc's and or cot, on all product we cut and wrap. We are a cheese cut and wrap facility. We do not make any cheese.

We are owned by a bigger corporate company, that is not sqf, and we are required to purchase a product from them and cut and wrap it for them.

They are not supplying us any of the required documents mentioned above. How can I get around this for sqf?

Any help is very appreciated,

Thank You  :helpplease:

I don't understand your posting - you posted under SQF, but then say your parent company is not SQF and then want to know how to around this for SQF?

Huh?  Please clarify your need.

We do business under another name. We were and still are SQF certified prior to the corporate buy out.

I hope this helps.

Explain the damage to their business should you lose your certification due to their inability to perform a simple, short assessment to determine if their supplies can be used, or explain you will have to stop using their product and seek a qualified source from outside the company.

I'm guessing you now have at least a dotted line to the corporate QA. I'd ask them if they can supply a continuing letter of guarantee. That will satisfy the SQF requirement.
