Does Dry Ice used for cleaning Food Contact surfaces need a COA?

I just joined a new company.  They are utilizing dry ice blasting to clean product contact surfaces.  I am new to dry ice blasting.

Does the dry ice we are purchasing need to have a COA since it is used on product contact surfaces? Thanks!

I am not in the US.

For EU: it depends. The final rinse is drinking water?
