Peace be upon you all. I have a problem with the pest control file, especially flies, the high activity of flies in the production halls and after verification and the increase in the number of light traps inside the production halls, but the activity of flies is high, but I think that the problem is in the air curtains, but I have a problem in how to determine their efficiency? I need support please?

The problem might relate to what you mean by "high".

 

The problem might relate to the inputted type of materials/receiving procedure/process/layout, ie absolute quantity of flies achieving ingress and subsequent options.

 

I assume light traps are appropriately installed (>> Pest Contracted Resources).

 

Regarding curtains, you can compare catch data before and after installation.

 

Yr Pest Contractor is often the quickest solution. That's what you are paying for.

hello, I personally don't work with air curtains but I do think just like any other piece of equipment the efficiency decreases with time, I do have insect light for my pest control and I stopped having issues with flies after I did the following, make a thorough walkthrough starts by making sure all doors are sealed and closed tight, then identify any areas for potential humidity or small areas where water sit for longer periods of time and last but not least but definitively most important check all you drains( bathrooms, hallways, warehouse, production and packing area), I hope this works for you and hope this is helpful in any way.

Make sure, it's not bottle flies which come not from outside but from the drains. In this case, you should treat your drains with special chemicals preventing bottle flies breeding in there.
