I have recently transitioned to the Cannabis Industry here in Canada. I am hoping to share as well as gain knowledge. The Cannabis industry has very "grey" requirements so I'm utilizing my food manufacturing background to ensure we are producing the safest product  to introduce to the retail market

Welcome to the forum. I've been thinking about moving over to Cannabis, even went through some interview steps with one.

Tim---cannabis is still a really wild ride           while they are all showing amazing "profits"  the business is far from stable and the most cut throat industry the world has since since the cola wars  or the golden arches vs the king.

AND the lack of emphasis on actual food safety is unsettling :(      and I quote "people just want to get high, they don't care about the quality"

I personally will not go back until/unless the business model changes, speaking for Canada specifically. There will be a massive recall in the near future, very few of them in Canada are focusing on doing the right thing and it's almost exclusively ran by financial people with very little, if any, manufacturing experience
