Billionaire Warren Buffett has just allegedly donated a substantial proportion of his massive fortune to a charity run by a couple of his friends who also happen to be billionaires. But if you had a vast fortune, would you give it away to charity in the spirit of Mr Andrew Carnegie who said someone who dies rich dies disgraced? Or should Mr Buffettt have staarted earlier giving away his fortune so that whatever suffering his might now alleviate might have been alleviated sooner?
For my part, I would first wish to experience the circumstances that give rise to such a problem.
