Good morning :)

Concerning the Costco Addendum, does anyone know if using disposible inspection cotton gloves (which are approved by CFIA) is ok? I see in their policy that ''fabric gloves'' needs to be covered by a non-latex powder free gloves

Our cotton gloves are non-latex, powder free gloves but I'm not sure if this enters in ''fabric gloves'' definition.

We really need to work with cotton glove (which are disposible) since the product we make can easily tear off the nitril gloves.

Just want to make sure we don't loose an easy point !

Thanks in advance

Do risk assessment, explaining why you're using cotton gloves, food safety impact, etc., document it and use as a rationale if a question arises during your Costco audit. Every production is unique, and you have your own policies based on your production specifics.
