Hi

Quick question.

My plant is scheduled for NSF audit next year .
However For clarification - even though The Plant isn’t NSF certified yet, we’ll still be able to use samples/bottles from our initial run for stability testing that the NSF will accept/recognize? Even though they were manufactured prior to NSF Certification completion?

You should have your samples pulled from how business is conducted on a day to day basis.  If the process is different or the samples are being hosen simply because it is easier or they are already set aside then it will skew your results for your audit and not give you accurate findings on how well you are performing.  NSF will want to see how the process is running at the time of their review and will most likely not be interested in samples that were pulled a year prior to the application even being completed.

Is there an issue with pulling samples from the line at the time of the review?

Cheers!

Hi ,

Yes, we do have samples pulled daily.

Do you know if NSf do consulting when it comes to Shelf life/stability testing? If yes , is it possible to have consulting done prior the certification? Or do we need to be certified first and then we will be able to pay for consulting on the shelf life ?
