As Charles has mentioned, there are a variety of websites and blog posts discussing the new elements.
BRCGS themselves also publish a "Guide to Key Changes" document, giving a clause-by-clause breakdown with the new parts highlighted. This can be purchased from their online bookshop here: https://www.brcgs.co...hanges/p-12230/

BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 main changes include:
Requirements for further development of product safety culture
Updated section 2 The food safety plan - HACCP as per Codex General Principles of Food Hygiene 2020
Updated requirements for internal audits, root cause analysis, preventive actions and incident management
Clarification on Outsourced Processing
Extensive update of Section 6 Equipment
Clarification for sites completing animal primary conversion and producing animal feed
Wording changed from integrity to authenticity throughout the standard
Addition requirements for X-Ray Detector Testing
A Product Development Procedure is now required
Requirement for knowledgeable personnel to carry out vulnerability assessments
Section 5.8 now Pet food and animal feed
New Section 5.9 Animal primary conversion containing requirements that were previously in a separate position statement
There are lots of other minor changes so it is worth buying the Guide to Key Changes if you specifically want to know the difference between Issue 8 and Issue 9.
