Hi,

Recently we had our BRC audit and one of the non-conformances was the usage of clear sticky tape in High Care and Low Risk areas.

What are other affordable options we can use?

Many thanks,

Nick (Ireland)

Was it used to hang up signs? We use those velcro straps/circles. We're low risk and not high care

What was the tape being used for??

If it was for signage, have maintenance install hooks you can hang things from---assuming you have a metal detector, you can then use metal chain for signage

I have used double sided tape to put up signage and did not have a problem with the signs during the audit.

Hi,
We also use Velcro only. Auditor see it an issue as if tape ends up in the product, it could cause choking.

Thanks

That may be because the auditor couldn't see the tape so didn't ask questions

it's a best practice no no to use tape on the floor
