My company would like to purchase a floor cleaner for a (no drain) stating area. Currently, moping and squeegee/air drying is the procedure but looking to cut down the labor and time. Are there any reference documents, articles, or procedures anyone is willing to share to help me understand this equipment?

I understand that I must develop a preventive maintenance plan, and sanitary procedures (for the equipment itself) and will need data to validate the new procedures but I am lost on where to start, is anyone willing to share their procedure so I could have a base line?

A few of the questions I have are how often should we change out the scrubber, or clean the inside if we are only adding water into the machine? Any specifications I should be looking for in a floor cleaning machine?

I know that these answers are based on our products and our operations; this area is used for packaging raw materials into different packages. It is food oils and food powders.

Thank you!

My company has a Tennant T600e floor scrubber for the shipping and receiving area. It works fairly well.

Here is a link to Tennat's scrubbers. From there, you can explore different scrubbers, but you can also download one of the operator manuals. Reading/glancing over any of the manuals should give you a good jump start and provide the answers you are looking for!

We use the Advance Condor EcoFlex 4030C sweeper / scrubber. It's fast and can use a multitude of detergents or plain water.
