Hi all,

 

Just wondering what system everyone is using with their PIF's. We are still using the V5 excel version and desperately need to update our system. Would love any advice on what system is best to use.

We were/are still using the older excel version but are slowly switching to the online version through the AFGC.  It does cost $, but being online it has some definite advantages. We require our suppliers of ingredients etc to have and provide us with completed PIFS and we are happy to receive the older excel versions and the online ones, as long as we get them. Or for international customers, we require a detailed product spec which covers off the contents similar to the PIF. If the information is not available we request it. Most suppliers are happy to complete the Excel version which we supply a copy of.
