Hi All,

I hope you are all doing well.

I want to ask you all about the FTRI spectrometer.

I contacted a few companies (Agilent, Thermo Fisher, Anton, etc.) about FTRI.
The pricing is different for all the companies. However, I would like to ask your opinion about FTRI.
I need to test supplements and vitamins on the instrument.
Maybe someone has a document with information that compares FTRIs?

They all essentially operate the same way.

Most will have some type of selling point.   Our "X is the best on the market.

Some basic considerations:  PC and display built into system or separtate system, where is calibration software stored (you control or supplier controls),portability, operation in harsh envirnment, ability to do liquids and solids, ease of use for common folks,  spectral range and resolution, sensitivity and signal to noise, SUPPORT

It's called FTIR (or FT-IR, Fourier-Transform infrared).  I would add that you need to make sure you have enough specificity to be able to distinguish the ingredient from any other potential ingredients that could be present.
