We use a maintenance software to track and complete all our manufacturing facility work orders and requests. In a recent audit, the auditor pointed out we don't have a statement in our SOP for how long we keep the maintenance records from the software. 

 

How long is everyone keep their maintenance records?

If I'm reading our RIM codes correctly lol, we retain for the life of the equipment + 3 years

Shelf life of the product, plus one year, round up.

 

We used to do organic and the CB required 5 years, so we ended up holding everything 5 years because that was easier than trying to maintain two separate parallel sets.
