Dear All,

Sounds almost Montypythonesque. Personally speaking, I had several near accidents when riding a motorcycle and overtaking bicyclists who reacted violently to hearing my hooter in their ears. Not so sure about this one.

I understand cyclists in City's such as London are a menace, weaving in and out of traffic, jumping lights, riding without due care and attention, not signalling, overtaking, undertaking and generally leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake. I think mandatory bell ringing is a suitable punishment, preferably about 20kg and worn round the neck, especially for the ignorant mountain biker who scratched my bloody paintwork last year.

Thanks Charles,
Simon
