Hi Everyone,

This is my first message in this platform :)

I am a food engineer with a background of food safety and quality systems. I managed FSSC22000 and BRCGS systems in manufacturing facilities. Now I have started my own business as a broker and want to get a BRCGS Agents and Brokers certificate -on my own-. As far as I am concerned, It is not the same to set up a system in a production facility and broker company.  I am planning to buy "IFSQN BRCGS Product Safety Management System"

https://www.ifsqn.co...agement-system

I am wondering if there is anyone who used this product to set up the system as an agent or broker? I have a limited budget and I have to decide between working with a consultant and buying this product.

Can I get advice from the users of this product?

Thanks in advance

Luya

Hi Luya,

:welcome:

Welcome to the IFSQN forums

We have sold around 20 of the IFSQN BRCGS Agents and Brokers Product Safety Management System Implementation Packages out of well over 1,000 in total. Food Manufacturing is by far the most popular purchase.

The IFSQN Implementation Packages provide customers with all the tools they need to achieve certification at a fraction of the price of using a consultant and the packages do include technical support to assist with implementing the package. There are customer reviews at the bottom of individual package webpages, for example here.

If you have any further questions, post them in this topic.

Kind regards,

Tony

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your reply!

Since I will be setting up the system by myself, I'm undecided between working with a consultant or purchasing an IFSQN Implementation package. Unfortunately, the consultants I know generally work in BRCGS Food, so I feel that the Agent & Broker consulting will likely involve copy-paste documents. At this stage, can IFSQN packages provide the necessary foundation for me to do the documentation on my own? Or are they made up of very general documents? Considering the cost in Turkish currency, I want something that will be beneficial to me. For example, the critical issues like HARA plan and PRP programmes, can the package can provide effective guidance? Look forward to receive your comments.

By the way, due to a technical error -I guess- this topic was created 4 times and I can not delete the other 3 :)
