Hi members,

We produce RTE fish products (eg. Immitation crab meat, different fish cakes). we will have our transition audit from v5.1 to v6 against FSSC 22000 this year and concerning quality control objectives, can we consider final product weight check as an objective?

other than this weight check, which is what we have in hand at the moment aligned with product specsheet, can you suggest anything else or give me some other examples of quality control for these particular product types? Im really having hard time finding this out.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

you can have like

1. you can cap customer coplaints - Quality

eg Maximum 5 customer complaints/month

2. Customer complaints-Food safety- 5/month

3. Maintianing FSCC score.

4. Health and safety incidents 5/month.

5. Decraesing food waste to 50%/ month (whatever number you can achieve)

Please note these should me measurable.

Like this you can make as many as you want, based on your process.

Hi shookimogh,

General Quality Objectives examples include:

Reduction in Complaint Levels 10% YoY

Reduction in Non-conformances 10% YoY

Reduction in Downgraded Product 10% YoY

> 99% Compliance with Specification (can break this down & include specific quality parameters)

Average GMP Audit Score > 95%

Achieve Grade A In XYZ Certification Audit

Completion of Inspections and Internal Audits to Schedule

Kind regards,

Tony

Hi Tony,

Are these not measurable food safety objectives? I'm assuming clause 2.5.9 (In accordance with 2.5. 9 (a)(ii), the organization shall establish, implement, and maintain quality parameters in line with finished product specifications for all products and/or product groups within the scope of certification, including product release that addresses quality control and testing.) is requiring something different . see attached.
