Tool Wash Bath System for Production Tools

It isn't really "next to the line". More like they are just being kept in the same room as the cooking. I would think, them not being up on the catwalk where food is dropped into the machines to mix, and cleaning with a sanitizing wipe, after spraying off would be decent? I would, of course have to assign an area they are keeping them in.

 

If they are not going to pose any hazard to your process or spill then an assigned soak tub could work, then rinse, and use a sani-wipe.

Hello,

 

Just a question. In the past, I have used silverware soaking baths for knives and scoops and stuff like that. I was wondering if anyone has any experience using a soaking bath for Tools. We have tools that are required to open valves and such for cooking different items, and I am trying to figure out an acceptable system so we don't have to go run around and keep switching them out.

Could use a sanitizer wipe.  Keeping tools soaking next to a production line is not something I would allow.  Depending on the tool type soaking could cause rust or functionality issues (thinking adjustable wrench).
