I wanted to do an IFS Pacsecure v3 audit, but it is currently not approved by GFSI as benchmark.  Will it ever get benchmarked considering the history?  Had anyone heard anything?

Hi packman156,

 

An interesting question, IFS and GFSI did have a massive falling out (details below). Maybe IFS have decided to limit their co-operation with GFSI to just the Food standard.

IFS welcomes the lifting of the suspension by GFSI

 

Statement from IFS:

‘In the interest of all CPOs, certification bodies, certified companies and other stakeholders, we would like to see GFSI revise its governance rules to ensure that basic democratic principles are respected, procedures are transparent and fair, and rules are adhered to by all participants in the future. We all want to work for the cause of food safety, taking into account the different needs and approaches of all stakeholders.’

 

I have sent IFS a message asking if the IFS PACsecure v3 standard is going to be benchmarked. I’ll post here if I hear anything.
