Analyzing RASFF notifications provides insights into trends in european food safety.

The presence of pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables of Turkish origin is one of the main problems.

Some issues are gradually being controlled, such as the presence of salmonella in black pepper from Brazil.

Other risks increase over the years, such as the presence of aflatoxins in nuts of American origin.

Internal problems also persist within the EU, such as the presence of salmonella in Polish chicken meat.
