Closest thing to a firm date that I've seen.

I received the same email, while earlier in the day was contemplating cancelling the conference. Not sure if this is a "get people to the conference" email, or will this truly be released? Still on the fence about keeping my reservations.

posted here as well
https://www.sqfi.com...-how-to-prepare
BUT also says
Following the release of Edition 10, the Code will move through the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarking process, with a planned transition period to support consistent implementation across the SQF system. Pending completion of the review process, we anticipate the first Edition 10 audits could begin as early as January 2027 (approximately nine months after release). Additional transition details and resources will be shared in the coming months to help sites prepare with confidence.

I sent SQFI a message earlier in the week asking when Edition 10 was going to be published as I thought they would launch at SQF UNITES 2026 March 9-12, 2026 Union Station | St. Louis
Still haven’t had a reply and it wasn't included in the SQFI SmartBrief on Wednesday, so maybe my message prompted that notification/blog? ![]()
I suspect Edition 10 will be shortly before or during SQF UNITES 2026 as that would make sense.
It will be about time as the SQF Edition 10 Conversion Course has been promoted since August 2025!: ‘Please note: This is a pre-sale and training materials will be published when the Edition 10 Code becomes live.’
Publication in early March will be a life changing moment as jfrey123 will owe me a whole $ ![]()
Kind regards,
Tony

I've actually been following this thread now because I think I'm switching from fssc22k to sqf, and it would be nice if I switch to ed 10.....instead of switching to 9 and having to update year 1 of my sqf fun and enjoyment....
Man, a whole dollar. Can you even buy a candy bar with that nowadays Tony?!?!?! Lol

Alrighty so not to nitpick: I see the bet you laid out in post #28 of this thread butI don't see where I took you up on it. When you threw out your bet, you're quoting my #27 post where I said it would be June 2026 for SQF 10 to be accepted, I did not state released/published. I also called that it would likely be January 2027 before compliance was expected. ![]()
Not to too my own horn, but reading the link in Scampi's post #53, it does appear that I will be incredibly close to accurate in what I predicted. SQFI is saying release in March 2026, also saying it needs to go through benchmarking (crossing my fingers it takes 3 months), and then compliance as early as January 2027. ![]()
