Hello everyone,
We are a supplier of food contact closures and are currently exploring opportunities to extend our business into Thailand. While reviewing the TISI standards, we’ve found some aspects confusing... particularly around marking requirements.
Our closures are composed of multiple components, produced by injection moulding. One point we’d like clarification on is whether it is strictly necessary to include the "safe for food contact" symbol directly on the closure itself. From a practical standpoint, applying this marking to our products presents challenges, so we want to be absolutely certain of the requirement before investing in new processes.
Has anyone here had direct experience with TISI compliance for closures or similar food contact materials in Thailand? Any insights or examples of how companies have addressed this marking requirement would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your guidance!
