Hi guys,

 

We currently use plastic colour tubs from Red Gorilla (tried to attach a photo but unsuccessfully) - which are food grade, to do our "dry cleaning" in the machinery.

We process powder only - same base for all product, only different flavours - so in between batches we only perform a dry cleaning  where we remove as much as possible of the powder in the augers/pipes from the machinery. We place these buckets at the pipe gate to catch all the powder coming out of it and we manually repack this product.

 

We have 4 colours on site: black, blue, yellow and red. But every time I need to buy new ones for replacement, it's a pain to find them in the correct sizes and/or colours, even worse to find them all from the same website and with huge delivery times.

 

My question here is: does anyone use any similar utensils and have something else - that would be easier to purchase - to recommend?

I'm not in Australia but I've used people like Klipspringer, Vikan and Seton for cleaning kit in a wide range of colours, they sometimes supply through other distributors so I assume someone would stock their kit where you are.
