Hi,

I was wondering if someone could tell me if TBHQ (E319) is banned in the UK ?

I'm looking for a preservative that can extend shelf life of fried foods, and after doing some research, have come to the conclusion the TBHQ seems to fit the bill but have read conflicting accounts of this substance - does anyone hae any experience of using it?

Thank You Kindly
