Hello all!

I am a student of food sciense and hopefully I will finish soon my studies. I am interested a lot in chocolate so I thought about making post graduate studies on chocolate but I really dont know where (what country - university). I asked some people and they proposed The Netherlands, France and Switzerland (obviously...) but they couldnt help me more than that. I made some google research but I couldnt find lots... So I would be more than helpful if someone could help me out with that.

I am mostly interested in chemistry - psysicochemistry also processing - quality control - microbiology seem attractive but anything that has to do with chocolate would do!

Thank you in advance!

It's worth getting in touch with Nestle - they have PTCs (product technology centres) all over the world; in the UK they're in York. They may part fund a qualification or at least let you know where other options are.

In the UK, Reading University is often considered to be a top university for food science

You could send them an email to see if they have any research projects coming up on chocolate.

The CCFRA are a food research organisation in the UK who either will be able to tell you if they've got a role for you or who might be able to help. http://www.campden.co.uk/

Quick question. Why chocolate? It's not half as much fun to work with as you might think!

Well I always had a passion for chocolate!
I already studied a bit about it and I found it interesting although lately I am looking for other programmes as well (concerning biotechnology and nanotechnology).

Thank you for answering!
