Is there an international standard for the color of conduit or pipes?

Hi Cathy,

There is a standard ISO 14726 for maritime use.
Basicly what I have seen on various vessels is this:
Blue: freshwater piping
Black: heavy fuel piping
Red; water piping for fire fighting
Yellow: lube oil
Green: cooling water
White: bilge water
Brown: diesel fuel

This link gives some interesting iso info.

Have a nice day, Okido
