People regularly re-use packaging in ways that it isn't designed for and this may raise the level of chemicals that get into their food, a Food Standards Agency study has found.

People regularly re-use packaging in ways that it isn't designed for and this may raise the level of chemicals that get into their food, a Food Standards Agency study has found.

A relative of mine used to store WINE AND SPIRITS into PET bottles but kept them away from direct sunlight :doh:

Tried to convince him that they didn't fit the purpose :smarty:

Successful. After taste was disgusting. He threw everything down the sink :)

His position was that PET was OK for water, so what can happen with wine and spirits ? :wacko:

I can store wine in anything without fear of chemical migration. It takes a bit longer than 5 mins... :lol:
