I was away last week on a 3-day Dale Carnegie Personal Performance Development training course. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it extremely challenging and have learned a lot about myself - now just have to put into practice.
In the late 80's I somehow came into possession of the book "How to Win Friends and Influenece People". I remember having a look at the time, but it didn't really strike a chord with me. Maybe I was too young. Anyway it makes perfect sense to me now. I can't understand why so many Leadership books have been written since this gem was first published in 1936.
Has anybody else studied the Carnegie philosophy?
Regards,
Simon
