Hi everyone

I joined last year but did not have time to introduce myself.

I am the food safety specialist for a mutinational food and nutritional company in South Africa.

All our factories will have to be ISO 22k certified by Dec 2009. :helpplease:

Currently we are in stage 1 pre asssessment. Two factories have passed pre assessment and will be attempting stage 2- certification.

This forum is a great way of exchanging experiences and sharing knowledge. It was so nice to finnally find people who understand all this ISO 22k giberish.

My company's major challenge is it's history and experince in Quality n food safety.

It like an old doctor who prescribes tried and trusted medication and remedies whilst the new age high tech doctor , up to date , with easy treatments. In other words we are too set in our ways. The upside is that there is so much information and data availble.

I joined because our decision tree was found non compliant by the local CB. I found a great decision tree from this forum ( Author- M Modarres) . Thank you

I have 9 factories to assist and the help I get from this forum is truly appreaciated.

Regards
Natasha :bye:

Thanks guys.

I have asked all the factory hygienists to join.

We can all learn from each other.
