Dear Harendrasinhsolanki

I can’t give you a specific link for biscuits, Indian or otherwise, but if you are prepared to equate (biscuit = pastry without cream,) this link gives UK recommended microbiological limits for most representative species / groups. Unfortunately it does not give a number of samples however for the situations of “not detected in 25g” the usual number unless you are referring to USA is almost invariably 3 or 5 depending on the required statistical accuracy. For the others where an average is involved or a nMc type standard, 3 or 5 is again popular, but, for sure, not less than 2 and not more than 5 is very typical (again, will probably be different in US).

http://www.hpa.org.u...uides_micro.pdf.

If you are looking for a legal standard for a specific country, some more in-depth searching will be required since these are often specific to themselves, although the procedures may be as per ISO standards. (eg as per Arya's links maybe)

Have you actually purchased this product without any specifications ??

Rgds / Charles.C

added - from memory, Australia uses the above data but also within a specific sampling plan, all available on the net but needs a little searching

Kind Regards,
