Life's not fair, we all know.
I don't mess with all that gender bias stuff.
IMHO it's simple: life's not fair, you just have to realize that things go this way and still do your best and find your goals and always remember your goals.
Maybe Paulo Coelho's book "The Alchemist" is influencing me, have you read it yet ? It's a light book, easy reading but full of love and common sense.
Thanks mate, the MOW is a tough task but I like it

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I haven't read it yet; I'll put it on my long list. MOW is a tough task especially when it's just you and I buddy. Anyway I'd like to know what have been your greatest triumphs and biggest mistakes (if any). :yeahrite:

Simon

what have been your greatest triumphs and biggest mistakes

Public employment is hard to get, very hard :yeahrite: let's say you need some help in order to get it, at least this is the situation in my country.
The challenge: get the job of Junior Researcher in a major Public Organization right the first time with NO HELP.
I will always remember as my greatest success the time I went to Rome and won the competition (several hundreds of applicants, many of them were "helped" :yeahrite: ) just for fun and then left the job to the second one . WOW, I still keep the papers in my secret box.

I would say biggest defeats, because the opposite of triumphs are defeats.

After that I will give you my opinion about mistakes.

The biggest defeat was in a basketball match 164-34. Joking, that was a true match and I remeber it very well, but was not the biggest defeat. There is a Waterloo in my life, and at the end of the battle I was so devastated that I could not shout out S**T as Gen. Cambronne did. I can't tell you here.

A mistake is a mistake only if you could act in two or more different ways.
Moreover you can't predict the future. For instance, did Carlo Ancelotti a mistake in Istanbul final ? Or Rafael Benitez ? Or Shevchenko ? Who knows ? Only at the end of the match "the winner takes it all" and "the loser standing small" but who could imagine before ? :dunno:

Let's go to the biggest mistake: I really don't know, I make mistakes every day :dunno: Forgetting that every single minute of life is special and unique, that's my big mistake. If I knew, I would have spent more time with my grandparents, they passed away too rapidly and too soon :crybaby:

Is there any change you would make to ISO 9001:2000 requirements ?

Well it's getting near the end of the week and it seems the questions are drying up. Maybe people are afraid they might set you off again. :o No seriously the boy done good - real good! I've told you before one of these days I'm going to get myself over there for a little break - like it or not.

Anyway for now I just want to ask - of all the places you could go to on the internet for brain food why do you come here to the SDF? :uhm:

Cheers,
Simon

Didn't you know production managers are much more rewarded (and loose women are for them only) with much less responsibility ?

SDF conference is a good idea, maybe in England ? Why not ?

We have two bedrooms, not enough for the community.

But there's a 300 sqm backyard ...

I'm afraid I'm out of the two wheel business.
Moreover most Lambretta's owners as far I know won't sell it.
I will check the local buy-and-sell magazine.
