Dear all!

I hope there will be someone on this forum who can help me. I am a first year student at master program Food Safety in the Agrifood chain at University of Maribor (if anybody interested, more details you can obtain on: http://fk.uni-mb.si/...y/index_eng.php) and for my seminar paper I need to compare food safety system around the world with EFSA and RASFF.

Does anybody has anything about this subject? I would be very grateful for any information.

Best regards,
Neso V.

P.S.: as I'm new on IFSQN forum, just to be sure that I will get information on time... my email is vuckovic.neso@gmail.com. I haven't mentioned, deadline for submitting seminar paper is this Weddnesday (June 16th, 2010)

Dear NVuckovic,

I find yr seminar title a little confusing.
Seems to me that EFSA is not a food safety system as such, it acts more as a scientific advisory arm to the management teams who do devise the FS systems / FS policies for the EC.
Similarly RASFF is an alert reporting system.

So I'm not quite sure what you are supposed to be comparing them with ??

BTW, welcome to the forum !

Dear Charles C.,

This is my problem as well. I was asked to "compare those 2 systems with other systems" without any explaination.

Well, in the end, it doesn't matter anymore, I already have send a seminar paper to professor and now I'm waiting for his reply. In case he wouldn't be satisfied I'll probably get more detailed instruction.

Thanks anyway!
Rgds, Neso
