Hi All,

We are an SQF certified company. I am considering enhancing our Pesticide Screening program which is currently done on an annual basis. I could use some input from others, always keeping in mind this program needs to be cost effective and satisfy both USA and Canadian customers:

1) Does anyone have a basic Pesticide screening/auditing program they could share with me?
2) Do you screen for every pesticide or are a few enough for an audit/screening?
3) Do you test all your raw materials, or just a different select few every year?
4) What do you do if a result comes back over the acceptable limit? You obviously can not recall ones production, is notifying the supplier enough?
5) Please suggest the name of the screening programs you are currently using and if possible the lab contact info currently performs this analysis for you.
6) Any other suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated

Dear QA,

You're probably right (i never noticed). Have moved it.

It's not my specific area but there are certainly several flour production people here.
While you are waiting, you might try searching here for flour / wheat / grain. I recall i hv previously posted some SOP / HACCP programs for flour here (eg FAO) but don't remember the details of ingredient control.

Kind Regards,
