I am based in ireland and planning to import food grade detergent into ireland from Non-eu,is there any EU regulation or standerd for food grade detergent?anyone knows about this?

Dear ecomagic,

It's not my direct area but IMEX, there are various possible shades of meaning to "foodgrade" detergent particularly depending on application and probably regulatory location. In the broadest interpretation of a cleaning function appears that EC regulations clearly exist although specific derogations may apply also. Don't know if you are already aware of such factors (?) eg -
