Hi

I am Etienne, another french (I just saw Julian).

I have been working in the UK for now 4 years in a cream factory.

I cannot believe that I discover this forum only now !

I am in charge of the technical department, including NPD and quality.
I know it is a lot, but those time, the company is not willing to give me an assistant.

Anyway, I hope that I could be useful on this forum, and I am sure that I will learn from other members.

Speak you soon.

Regards

Thanks for your welcome

Hi Charles,

Ahah, NPD is new product development.
I thought that was pretty much a standard abbréviation.

@ Simon
Good luck, you could have 2 weeks of rain in Britanny.

We say, in France, about Britanny, that is raining only twice a year, once 6 month, and the second time 5 months.

Dear Simon,

Hopefully not a case of -

I believe you are correct. Was unable to google one-handed while eating.

TBH, I normally call it R&D (anything).

There was a recent thread here as to whether acronyms are getting out of (in?) control. They are particularly popular in the UK seemingly, perhaps a covert Monty Python superiority-ism.
