Guess I'd best introduce myself since I've been posting here lately.
My name is Des, a microbiologist for the past 30 years in both industrial (10 yrs) and research (20yrs) roles.
Hope I can be of help to, and pick up some new information from other microbiologists and non-microbiologists
here!
