can some packaging material have an expiry date?
if yes, has this date to be considered in determining product due date ?

Example: a multilayer polymer has a shelf life of 3 year, and I use a lot of this material (made 2 years ago) for packing a product that have a 18 month schelf life.

Yes of course you must consider the expiry date of the packaging as the functional performance of some packaging materials can change over time. Then again in reality the specific packaging material may be ok for 5, 10, 20 years, but you must validate this with your supplier if you require longer packaging expiry life.
