Actually there is no particular legislation for HACCP in Egypt (as my knowledge) because the implementation of HACCP in food plants is optional up till now, we follow the existed food hygiene specifications and rules.

Yes, the application of HACCP is still optional in Egypt, but due to increasing of consumers awareness about food safety as well as the requiring of imported companies to apply food safety systems like HACCP, ISO 22000, so, most of food production and agricultural companies have Food Safety System

Regarding HACCP, we implement the US style

I believe the guys answering on this thread said that HACCP is not a requirement in Egypt.
