Hello,

I was told that FDA approves labelling only Xanthan gumunder ingredients used when the actual ingredients are Xanthan and Konjac blend. I was told Konjac falls under Xanthan gum. I searched CFR for this information but couldnt find anything which states Konjac or glucomannan falls under Xanthan gum.

Both these are hydroclloids but from completely different sources. If thats the case shouldnt both be included on the label? Any one familiar with this?

Thanks

Bnue
