To All IFSQN-contributors (incl. Admin)

I had only been a (mostly silent) member of this forum for a few months exceeding ONE year. However, I am comforted by your accessibility, and the invaluable networking opportunities available.

Save for NO posts over the duration of my membership, I have frequently - if not (over-) utilized this as my sole source of Food Safety information.

Regrettably, South Africa are lagging in the intensity of enforcing Food Safety Legislation; however, there are independents (Private Companies) who are spear-heading enforcement activities b.m.o. audits and consultation. The knowledge base of current Food Safety Legislation, industry standards and incentives / motivation to improve are sparse and most elemental at best.

My final comment: THANK YOU for all you have offered, are offering and shall for the next multiple of TEN years make available to passionate food safety 'professionals' as myself.

Thank you,
Graham Jöhr
QA: Compliance Officer

10 years ago, January 2003 our website was born. Initially we were called the SaferPak Discussion Forums (The SDF), but we relaunched as the International Food Safety & Quality Network in the summer of 2006.

I won't deny at times it's been extremely hard work, stressful and tiring, but at the same time it’s very rewarding and an absolute privilege to be the administrator of such a vibrant, friendly and educational discussion forums.

The thing that gives me most pride is the way members from different countries and cultures and levels of competence come together to help each other in a courteous and professional manner.
This is why we have over 18,000 members with hundreds more joining every week.

Here’s to the members of the IFSQN – wishing you all a Healthy & Happy 2013 - let’s hope we’re here in another 10 years time.

Special mention to Charles C. - IFSQN Super Moderator.

Best Regards,
Simon

First of all thanks to the IFSQN team for creating a website like with which millions are being benefited. To be frank, I am grateful to IFSQN for helping me in developing many of our food safety policies and procedures and of course IFSQN helped me at times when I was in utter confusion about some technical problems we confronted in our production line.

I congratulate one and all who worked hard for this venture and expect IFSQN be the number one food safety related website in the world,

thanks and regards,

QAM ALPHA

This website has helped me numerous times in driving home points to the upper management at our facility.
Having also posted on the site in the past it just shows that if you truely believe and take pride in your work you will be rewarded. It is a terrific feeling not only to help someone in the same field but know that if needed someone will be willing to help you out as well. Great job on the website and keep up the fanstastic work!

Congratulations Simon and all the team at IFSQN,

I have enjoyed both the threads and all the information / templates available thru the site.

Having a forum to discuss FS helps especially when you do not have an opportunity in your work teams to thrash out the nitty gritty of the standards. Thank you for the opportunity!
