I'm looking for an appropriate sampling plan to use for fruit/processed fruit.

If I receive x amount of fruit in pounds, what's the sample size and acceptance number?

I came across ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 where

lot/batch size N=1000,

sample size n=80,

acceptance number c=2

which would not apply in this case.

Dear MD21,

I deduce you can only accept small sample sizes.

i suggest you investigate the options within the MIL.Std 105 attribute sampling tables. These have sample sizes down to 5 for your lot size but naturally there is a trade-off in AQL.

It basically depends on what risks you can accept from the sampling plan.
