Dear Member,

Hope you all will be well..

I just want to confirm that can H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) use as Sanitizer for cleaning the food contacted surface.? If yes, is there any guidelines in FDA or EU, if yes, then please share.. If not, then please share why it is not recommended...

Your urgent responses will be appreciated..

Regards...!!

Qureshi -

There are several FDA approved sanitizers (see attached and search on 'peroxide'). The attached is several years old, but gives you the FDA reg, if you want to check for updates. I do not know anything about EU...

I am not sure how you are using - retail, restaurant, food processing - so you will have to dig a little to determine acceptable uses for your application.
