Dear all,

I am starting to work on IFS Broker implementation in a Quality system company, ISO 9001.
Any advice on where to begin and some tips or samples for me to use?

Thanks a lot,
Joana

Dear Joana,

Are there any specific issues that you need information for?

Did you already do a gap-analyse and found some deviations that need to be explained?

It is impractical to explain the whole IFS Broker standard in this post.

Which products do you trade?

Kind Regards,

Madam A. D-tor

Dear Madam A. D-tor

The trading products of the company are mostly food, they are not well define yet.

First of all I would like to know if anyone has information about  the last version of "IFS Compendium of Doctrine”.

There are any correlation between the two standards?

All information you can provide me about this subject is welcome,

Thanks,

Joana

Dear Joana,

All information regarding IFS Broker, can be freely downloaded from the IFS website: www.ifs-certification.com

You can find both the IFS broker standards issue 1 and issue 2. Issue 2 will be in force starting April 1st 2014.

Related to Broker standard, you can download the following documents from this site:

IFS Broker standard issue 1

IFS Broker standard issue 2

comparison IFS Broker issue 1 - issue 2

Fact sheet broker

You can find the last issue of the Doctrine in the "official standard related documents" under "food".  There are no AFAIK no Broker related topics in the Doctrine.

I have no correlation table, but in general all ISO requirements, can be found in the IFS Broker standard.

A Broker checklist is included in the standard and you can use this for gap-analyse.

Kind Regards,

Madam A. D-tor
