Yr query initially requires brief information as to yr product (eg identity,presentation,usage [eg RTE]) / process / sampling objective (egphysical [eg smell, stones], micro.pathogens (eg salmonella), toxin ??) ?

IMEX, the reference procedures used for sampling/analysis of raw materials / finished products in the edible oils fiels are published by the American Oil Chemist's society (AOCS) -

I think many of the procedures are also included within the well-known AOAC manual.

 

Codes of Practice are also available from Codex, FOSFA, FEDIOL, and others.
