I think you need to provide more information on the forms you are trying to complete.

Hello,

Type of container you use. 3-pieces means it consist of top, bottom end and body while 2-pieces consist of body and top end only (e.g. deep drawn can).

 

It's about your product's characteristic especially during thermal process.

Thks for above link which contains useful material.

 

I presume the document is still current although the page itself seems undated and the content includes some rather antique references.  However i daresay the basic process knowledge has not changed that much in last 20 years. i would have expected the equipment (and cans) to display some changes though?.
