Hello all

I have used Qpulse in the past. It had some great functionality but haven't now used that for several years. Can anyone recommend a system which can manage the QMS, so doc control, calibrations, audit schedules etc  to give better control and limit access?

All help appreciated

Thanks

Adam

Not to sound like a sponsored plug, but Safe Food 360 might be worth a look. I started using it a short time ago to create a FSMS from scratch and haven't had any real problems with it other than a few features that I think are designed...oddly.

We looked at a system called Ideagen which was easy to set up and you could buy it in modules and covers audits calibration and training as well as document control.

If I could get approval from our directors would have this system in

Please be careful going with IT solutions which operate across every sector imaginable. Very often ‘Food Safety’ is bolted on because it is compliance orientated but in actual fact the provider knows very little about it. Which is clearly apparent in the opening paragraph of their Food Industry webpage: http://www.ideagenpl...d-and-beverage/

An honest typo, perhaps, but in our experience this is indicative of a much wider issue. There are a million GRC software solutions out there, but only a handful that specialize in food safety for the food industry, and have the expertise and experience which that requires.
