BTW-my favorite answer was the Log Lady :)

I was hoping someone could fill me on what exactly a "Peanut Free Log" is? A customer is asking if we have it, which obviously we do not...Appreciate the help!!

I have not heard of such a thing (but I am not as smart as some of the others here), but am wondering if it is related to what you make or a specific process. So additional information may be helpful.

my best guess......... schedule for /results of/ allergen testing that has taken place in your facility-that demonstrates that your product is 'peanut free'- (if it is not that I have no idea!)

This sounds like something some one made up once to satisfy an audit, but they didn't know what requirement they were satisfying or why.
You're not crazy. The person asking for the Peanut Free Log is. (Or maybe this is a "cleaning fogger" thing, where I never ran into it but it's common practice in the industry) I can play a guessing game, but your best bet is to ask them directly what they're looking for.
Maybe they want a log of where you have moved products with peanuts.
Maybe they want records of allergen tests after peanut runs.
Maybe it's the Log Lady, and she's getting her log dressed up Halloween, and it's going as a "Peanut Free" Sign.
Maybe they meant "Peanut Free LOGO" but made a typo
Maybe the want product specifications for raw materials that state no peanuts are used.
Maybe they want a map of your factory to see where the peanut free zone is.
Edit : Oh, I get it - maybe -
In schools that are peanut free, the lunch supervisors or whoever check the kids' snack wrappers to make sure there's no peanuts, and then they write it down on a log. Their Peanut Free Log. Not sure why this would apply to a factory or adults, but .. maybe?
