Dear All,
Some Opera to expand the scope a little more -
Rgds / Charles.C
PS - added - for the uninitiated, "The Proms" is a hallowed, 2-month long, annual event in UK since apparently 1895, being a series of classical music concerts -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Proms
Traditionally, the last night of the series (as per above extract) is like the free section of an ice-skating competition where unusual interpretations are permitted / welcomed.
Kind Regards,

How could you hate Cold Play??? Honestly? They have some really great songs.

Thinking ahead to warmer days, this group performs at a lot of the Rennesiance Festivals in the US. They also have some albums. They write their own songs, and are quite a unique act. If you go to a Renn Fest, check out Sirena.
And, yes, the music posted here has been awesome. MM, yes, we need that.

I'm not sure they come up to the one in Western NY near Rochester. Might have to travel down to the one in MD near Baltimore wherever that one was.

Keep checking their site, they post their schedule. It doesn't go past May yet, but they normally do a lot of them.

The one near Baltimore is in Crownsville.

I think this was from a production in Australia. They are a bit more boisterous than other places.
Do you follow the ITLAPD gang? They are into pirates of all manner and forms.

That video is blocked by Disney here, but I have the movie on DVD and VHS and love it. Beethoven's 6th is the only even-numbered symphony that is good.
Beethoven's 7th was used in the Cosmos series (with Carl Sagan, not the new one).
