Hello everyone,

We are in the process of getting our SQF L2 certification. I was wondering if anyone can provide an example of a daily cleaning/sanitation schedule? I currently have an extensive checklist comprising of detailed tasks under each heading to do everyday, but I was wondering if I could simplify it further. For example, for our break room daily cleaning I have floors, locker doors, tables, appliances, door handles and so on listed down. I have this listed for every area they have to get to everyday and its running up to 8 pages. It would really help if someone could provide a template so i get a better idea. I was not able to find much help on the internet.

Thank you,

Create a SSOP called "Break Room". In that SSOP, list the items that need to be cleaned, how to clean them, what chemicals/concentrations, etc.

Train and document employees on the SSOP.

On your "checklist" just put down the SSOP number or name. If the SSOP contains all of the information, and the employee(s) have been trained on the content of the SSOP (and how to actually do the cleaning, of course), then you only need the one item on the checklist.

That's about as simple as it can get.

Here is an outline of a SSOP that I use.
