Hi there,
It depends on the NSF certification as they offer a variety (the biggest difference is that NSF offer independent product testing). The SQF Code is a GFSI benchmarked standard and one of the certifications that NSF offer.
Kind regards,
Tony

Tony, thanks. So there isn't a straight NSF Certification but rather specific certifications NSF does like SQF, BRC , etc?

NSF offer a variety including their own, you would need to see the certificate to see what the scope of the certification was.
Kind regards,
Tony

At least for packaging, SQF Level 2 is one of the four food safety schemes benchmarked by GFSI.
SQF does not do audits. You have to hire a certification body (3rd party auditor).
NSF would do the audit. SQF would review the audit results and approve the certificate to be issued by NSF. Your certificate would list both NSF and SQF.
NSF is one of many organizations that are approved by SQF to do SQF audits (see SQF website).
As mentioned above, NSF does certification for other standards (see NSF website).

Hello Billy,
NSF is a (CB) certification body that does third party audit. SQF is a standard under GFSI.
