Hi Su Lei,

Welcome to the Forum ! :welcome:

Please clarify a little.

Are you looking for  an internal audit plan/checklist for a haccp system ? ("quality" can have various meanings).

If yes, is any particular Food Safety Standard involved  ?

PS - what kind of product/process is involved ?

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

Hi Charles,

I am looking for internal audit plan based on quality plan.In our quality plan, containing the processing step for checking raw materials, mixing and packaging. For example, while I receive the materials how to check, what is standard, if deviate how to do Corrective Action.
Products are food and beverages (powder type).

Thanks

Su

Hi Su,

The difficulty is that the scope of yr query (ie "quality"/"food/beverages") is textbook  manual size.

The starting point is usually to define  product specifications for the relevant items. This then answers the testing requirements (="quality plan"?).

Some of the specs will be safety related, some not.

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

Hi Charles,

Thanks for your reply.

As I know, there doesn't have any Quality Objective, Quality Policy, and other Quality Management documents.

So, I made the audit schedule and checklist as attach files. Could you please check and guide me to use as audit plan?

Thanks you so much.

Su

Hi Su,

Any comments may depend on the nature of yr product/process and yr intended consumer location. These are unknown.

Assuming specifications are available, the audit plan IMO is usable with respect to the (mainly process) QA features  covered but IMO there  are 2 notable omissions -  Hygiene and HACCP.

I do not know if you are familiar with HACCP / Prerequisite Programs / CCPs etc?

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

Hi Su,

The audit list that you shared is good , but i would suggest that you create an HACCP plan for your organisation. That will give you key control points that QA team has to check.

Internal auditor checks if the control points are being checked & quality requirements are being followed.

Also there are support teams like marketing , purchasing , HR that needs to be covered in internal audit. I audit Sr Management too as part of my audits.
